Poole Football Club was founded in 2025 by local resident Jamie Lindsay, driven by a vision to create a hometown club with a strong sense of identity, unity, and passion. The club places a firm emphasis on youth development and an exciting, distinctive playing style.
OUR CREST.
The primary crest of Poole Football Club is a modern emblem steeped in Poole’s heritage. The crest draws visual inspiration from the town’s deep historical ties to seafaring, privateering, and trade. At its heart is a stylised golden sailing ship, symbolising Poole’s proud legacy as one of Europe’s largest natural harbours and a hub of naval activity for centuries.
Beneath the vessel, four blue waves represent the sea that defines the town’s identity and its ever-present connection to the water. Encasing the ship is a modern shield, encircled by a clean roundel. The circular badge form reflects unity and professionalism, while two symmetrical anchor motifs on either side act as dividers, splitting up the two lines of text.
The typography is refined and confident, positioned with balance to enhance clarity and ensure maximum legibility across all all use cases of the crest. More than just a logo, the Poole FC crest links past and present, honouring the town’s legacy, and setting a bold course for its footballing future.
